Spinnaker community looks to the future by announcing Vision and Mission statement

Dec 14, 2020 by Armory

Isaac Mosquera, our co-founder, CTO, as well as a member of the Spinnaker Steering committee, recently shared a post diving into the details of Spinnaker’s new Vision and Mission. The Spinnaker community developed both the Vision and the Mission as a combined effort between the Steering Committee and the Technical Oversight Committee with the goal of aligning on a vision and mission statement for the Spinnaker project.

As passionate members of the Spinnaker community, we are very excited to see the community develop a long term Mission and Vision statement.  These statements will serve as the foundation of the Spinnaker project and will be built upon in an iterative fashion.

By productizing software delivery practices, opinions, and techniques based on broad industry standards, we can simplify that complexity. We envision a safe, secure, compliant workflow that encompasses the entire lifecycle of software delivery from development to production.
