We are excited to announce the next Spinnaker Bay Area meetup will be on December 5th, 2018 at Armory HQ in San Mateo, CA.
We’ll be jumping into a deep dive into how Spinnaker sequences stages, composes behavior and handles errors in branching pipelines with Rob Fletcher from Netflix.
6:00pm: Doors open. Refreshments, food and socializing.

Rob Fletcher is a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix, where he focuses on Spinnaker. He has over 15 years of experience in the software industry, and has contributed to several open source projects including Groovy, Geb, Ratpack, and Grails.

This talk is an introduction on using Spinnaker and demo how to deploy a sample application into cloud using Spinnaker.

It has a powerful plus flexible pipeline management system with integrations to the major cloud providers with the best practice built in deployment strategies (Like Blue/Green, Canary based, Rolling Blue/Green).
