Sending Empathy to Our Friends at F5 Networks

Mar 2, 2020 by Thomas McGonagle

Armory is extremely excited about the synergies between F5 Networks’ NGINX and Spinnaker. We had been looking forward to speaking at F5’s Agility 2020 conference in Orlando this month about an integration between Armory Spinnaker and NGINX to drive increasing efficiencies in application-centric delivery and ‘blitz scale.’

We learned a few days ago that F5 Networks has made the difficult decision to cancel Agility 2020 due to the escalating travel and safety concerns surrounding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. The company is choosing to focus on the welfare of employees, customers and partners. We are extending our thoughts and prayers to everyone at F5 Networks, and particularly those at its Seattle-based HQ affected by the virus. We have many close friends and colleagues at F5, and they are in our hearts at this very difficult time.

Armory is also actively and continuously monitoring the recent outbreak with local and national public health officials. Armory has taken steps to keep employees safe while ensuring continued operations. Information about Armory’s steps to minimize customer and employee exposure can be found here. We are also constantly updating credible resources here, including information about COVID-19, a map of global cases, an interactive tracker and risk by age and pre-existing conditions.
