KubeCon+CloudNativeCon EU is one of the world’s largest tech conferences. Here, users, developers, and companies who have and intend to adopt the Cloud Native standard of running applications with Kubernetes in their organizations come together for 5 days. From May 16-20, 2022, tech enthusiasts will congregate both virtually and in person in Valencia, Spain to share new ideas, learn more about it, make connections, and have fun. Lots of amazing talks, events, meetups, parties, and competitions will take place over the course of 5 days. This is the perfect environment for a newbie like me to fall in love with the awesome Continuous Delivery community.
This KubeCon EU is dear to my heart because it will be my first international conference and speaking opportunity. On May 17, I will speak on a CDEventsCon panel about the SIG Interoperability committee as a Spinnaker representative. SIG Interoperability aims to enable a dialog in the interoperability area by bringing CI/CD users together with the open source projects in order to highlight and promote the needs of the users who face challenges constructing complex end-to-end CI/CD flows and pipelines by employing different tools and technologies and reduce the need for users to implement in-house solutions by promoting native interoperability between tools.
Although I am new to the wonderful world of Spinnaker, I aim to provide a fresh perspective on the discourse about the future of the space. Outside of the panel, I am excited to see and learn about all the amazing events and projects going on in the CD arena. As a developer advocate, one of the biggest parts of my job is to learn more about the community I work for and at KubeCon EU I will have a front-row seat to discover all the latest and greatest events and organizations in the CD community.
Come join me on this journey of exploring more about the CloudNative community.
I have attached the link to the schedule and registration links.
Next stop Valencia!!

With an automatic multi-target deployment tool, on the other hand, you do the work once and deliver your code everywhere it needs to be. Armory provides an […]

Deciding how frequently to release a product is an interesting challenge faced by many companies. There are definite pros and cons related to adjusting your release cadence that have to be evaluated on an individual basis. Faster release cycles in theory might sound good, but of course, there can be tradeoffs. Looking at historical release […]

Before I came to Armory, I spent several years building products to provide transparency into IT costs. For many businesses IT Costs are a black hole, they make up a significant percentage of a company’s total expenses, but are hard to understand and control. Modern cloud services provide the ability to easily turn capacity off […]
