With the Rapid Expansion of Armory, Welcomes New Worldwide Head of Sales

Nov 9, 2018 by Armory

Armory is pleased to announce the addition of Kit Wetzler to our leadership team
as the Worldwide Head of Sales. Kit will lead the rapid expansion of Armory’s
sales and professional services team in order to grow and create a sustainable
revenue stream as Armory continues to bring the OSS Project Spinnaker to the
Enterprise to accelerate the software development lifecycle.

Kit joins Armory from Pulse Secure, AWS and Citrix. Wetzler was a co-founder of
a services oriented company called (Opswerks). He specializes in building teams with a focus on predictability, measurability and repeatability. Prior to building and running sales teams, he held positions in product marketing, customer success, product management, sales engineering and was a developer at one point as well. Armory will benefit from Wetzler’s experience closing large Enterprise deals with key customers, as well as his technical acuity and credibility with senior IT leadership.

“After speaking to many sales leadership candidates, we hired Kit because of his very unique skill set. Kit has a technical understanding of the pain points Armory’s buyers, typically engineering leadership, are looking to solve for. He has experience building sales teams, not just on the selling side, but also sales engineering and solutions architecture teams.”
